We took a trip down from Bath to Wells to explore the Cathedral and were delighted that we did. Wells Cathedral is renowned as not only the earliest Gothic Cathedral in Europe but one of the most beautiful and poetic of the English cathedrals. We got there as the doors opened on a Saturday morning and enjoyed the Cathedral largely free of tourists and locals. I used my 17 – 40mm lens to capture the wide angles and enjoy the pleasantly distorted effects it creates while Taylor deployed her 50mm lens to explore the many charming details.
