We arrived at our cabin mid-afternoon and the receptionist said we should get down to the Pancake Rocks immediately as it was almost high tide and the blowholes will be putting on a show. So we did and they were. A storm was brewing which added to the drama and force of the swell through the blowholes. The brochures describe it as a must see West Coast attraction – who could argue at high tide.
