We woke to a heavy fog in Alexandra and found nothing to photograph so got on our way and it wasn’t long before we found plenty to shoot in the charming town of Clyde. Still a heavy fog but interesting river and street scenes to capture including an almost blanked out Dunstan Dam. We eventually headed out along Lake Dunstan and the fog suddenly disappeared leaving us to enjoy a splendidly fine day wth blue skies and autumn colours as we made our way via Cromwell to Arrowtown before heading to our destination in Queenstown. Arrowtown evoked contrasting emotions with the spectacular autumn show ruined by the density of cars and people in the main street.
