Tried to get some action shots for my local Camera Club competition recently. Thought that greyhound races and horse jumps races would provide plenty of opportunities so ventured to the local meets with camera in hand. Turns out is it more difficult than you can imagine. The greyhounds in particular are very fast and hard to capture in an elegant pose – not to mention in focus. Horses going over hurdles are not much easier. After some four hundred shots only a handful are useable. Hope you like them.
