Pézenas is a town of art and history boasting a beautiful heritage set in the Languedoc region in the south of France. An ancient town stretching back to the 1200’s it features numerous mansions of the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. Beautiful paved streets lined with craft workshops cheer up the stroll. Pézenas is also notable in being Molière’s place of residence in the 17th century. We were fortunate to spend a couple of days in Pézenas with friends from New Zealand and I had ample time to try to capture its special character in photos. I hope you enjoy them.
