Autumn is our favourite time of year and this year it was pleasantly mild after a relatively cool, damp and windy summer. We don’t have dramatic season changes in New Zealand, nor the spectacular autumn colours seen in the northern hemisphere. At our Whanganui property we have planted some northern hemisphere trees and enjoyed their displays along with the late fruiting quince we planted a few years ago.
